so, i just finished setting up my aquarium this week and i want to get some opinions as well as help for the future.
dimensions: 95cm lenght x 40 width x 33 height so about ~30 gallons
lights: maxspect r420r 60w at 10k but i think im getting another one in the future.
rocks: about 14kg, tried to get a loose rock work that water can flow trough with lots of space at the top for corals, all live rock.
skimmer: Tunze doc skimmer 9004
pumps: 2 x Tunze nanostream 6015

what fish would you suggest?
it will be a coral tank (no anemones or anything that harms corals), might even try keeping some sps.

you think that concept will work? did i miss anything.
thansk for your opinions.

I would look through this link http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/aquarium-fish-supplies.cfm?c=15+2124 it's for the nano section of Live Aquaria. There you will find many fish that you can keep in a 30 gal and under. They give pictures as well as descriptions of each and compatibility of other inhabitants.

I recommend the Golden Midas Blenny, super cool fish gets along with everyone, eats most any prepared foods both pellets and frozen (I don't feed flakes) they will find a hole in LR that they will call home. Lots of fun to watch as he's always out and about swimming in the mid water column. Very cute face :D It's really fun watching him back into his hole in the rock. If he's not swimming around he will be found in his hole with his head looking out to see what's going on. I love this fish and so does everyone else that has one. Their min tank is 30 gals.

Go through the link and put together a list of what you would like to have and we will help you narrow it down from there.

Also for any questions you have about your tank and the setup as well as the nitrogen cycle there is a sticky with a big red arrow called Setting Up, there you will find a very well put together catalog of information. I highly suggest you read through it and will know where to find what you're looking for. Trust me if you can think of something, it's in there.

I second the Golden midas blenny, very active fish especially during feeding times. I also have a Geometric Pygmy Hawkfish (not really a hawkfish) that is really cool, he is a hider though but one of those fish that when it comes out everyone goes ooooh the spotted fish is out. I also have a caribbean sailfin blenny that has taken up residence in an abandoned shell and pops in an out. These are the types of fish I like to get for my Nano 180gallon tank :-) people sit and look at the tank for an hour and they are still finding new things to look at. I do not recommend a pistol shrimp, at first it was cute but it is constantly popping now and I can't catch the bugger, all night long pop, pop, pop must drive the fish in the tank crazy and I have no idea what he is popping at

I like the looks of the Golden Midas Blenny but it's worth noting that these fish have the reputation of being jumpers so you want a cover of some sort. Are either of you doing okay without one?

Bulk Reef Supply sells a wide mesh screen with frames that can be cut to suit. In many tanks even open topped ones, you can not see the screen. Given that any fish can jump and many eventually will jump, a cover like this is nice insurance.

I have a clear screen cover on my tank because ALL fish can jump if provoked. Also to add I've never seen my Midas Blenny try and jump hit the screen at all. My McCosker's wrasse is a different story, because he gets chased by my Cherub Angel from time to time. For whatever reason my Cherub Angel only terrorizes the one fish and has pretty much left all of the others alone.

There is no reason not to have a screen cover over your tank to keep your fish safe and kept in their tank. So just remember that all fish can and will jump if provoked.
