i have about 25 pounds of live rock that i need to sell, so i was wondering what a "way toexpensive" and a "ok" and a "good" and a " almost free" price would be for this
thanks its cured marshall island rock bought about 2 years ago for 8.99 a pound

well it sounds like u guts are talking about figi rock or somethin cause this rock was really expensive and colorful, so even 3 dollars is really low
i was thinkin like 6 or 7

you can try to get $6-$7 a pound for it but you will most likely never get rid of it....Especially when you can get awesome walt smith rock from ocean pro for around $2-$3 a pound....

If your rock had a bunch of corals all over it then I could see people paying that....But if not good luck

There is just so many cheaper places to get rock. I know you paid alot for it, but that doesn't mean you got a good deal. I've purchased rock from this board for as low as $.50 a lbs, and it wasn't bad rock.

The resale for these items is low. Kinda like when you drive a car off the lot. Good Luck.

Gemini Are you still looking for some live sand? I have as much as you will need for your 30, I will give you for $5.00.

fyi-Marshall Island rock usually sells for $5/pound at the cheapest. It is much more porous than fiji or tonga so 30 pounds looks more like 50 pounds of fiji or tonga.

For example - gcarroll has a 225 that could easily hold 250-300 pounds of fiji or tonga, but it has 160 pounds of marshall and it's full
