I am working with a 30g cube and pakuni rocks. These rocks should have lots of crevices, but not sure best way to arrange the rock to house the most number of anemones hanging around the tank.
Not sure if this helps but there are 6 bubble tips on this rock...
the rock is bumpy enough that the foot can hide out of flow, they seem to like stretching into the flow, the ones on the side seem to do well in a channel created by water flowing around the rock and between the glass
I always do pillars so I can go up, maximize space, create ledges and crevices, give some choices for light and flow needs.
Some of my BTA's went high for light, some liked shaded areas, some would run from flow, and some run towards it.
And some of them just keep moving and moving. 3 weeks ago I set up what was intended to be a mixed reef and added 2 RBTAs along with a few corals. The RBTAs are still moving every night just as soon as lights go out.
Notice that I have the foam cover on the MP10 on the back of the tank. One of the RBTAs just went for his nightly swim and I found him hanging and deflated from the MP10. I pulled to cover off and he came with it. It doesn't appear the he got cut up. Time will tell.
