rockscaping for zoathids

I'm in the process of setting up a 30 gallon long tank for zoathids and a few fish.

my question is what is the best way to rockscape the tank and also control the growth, so they dont get out of hand. I had a 75 gallon reef ( which I converted to a FOWLR) and the zoas started getting out of control.

also what is a good lighting suggestion for the tank It's 36" long and about 18" deep.

Thanks

I dont really think there is a best way to aquascape but I would probably try to use smaller rocks to build your formations, that way you can control the spread better...Larger rocks make that difficult to do..

I use T5's and have been very happy

It was suggested to me by my LRS that you can put a thin line of rubble as the outline of where you want them to spread to, that way when they get onto the rubble you can cut the mat and have a frag to place elsewhere or trade. Haven't tried it, but the theory sounds reasonable.

Thank you everyone,
Riona that sounds like a good Idea, I'm just trying to keep a few different types without them growing out of control.
