THis is a 105 gallon quarter-cylinder, 36" deep damsel tank.
This is the basic rock setup. It's pyramidical, leans against the rear overflow, and is unglued---interlocked---and built on a set of rocks that juts up out of the sandbed, like foundational pillars. That means there are caves down there, and caves everywhere, all the dark spots. Damsels love places they can get into and feel safe, and sleep in the rockwork or in the heart of corals.
This also means that a little bluster and threat can carry on only so far---somebody ducks into the rockwork and comes around again. Rockwork with caves, holes and options can make life easier.
