So, to start. This is my second RODI auto shutoff valve. My setup is a Spetrapurs MPDI-90 with an additonal prefilter stage. I reversed everything just because it made more sense in my head. My RODI is in my hall closet. The main feed comes from the bathroom sink on the other side of the wall, it goes into an independant stage 1 prefilter, then stage 2 carbon filter, stage 3 carbon filter, then to the "IN" on the auto shutoff, then "OUT" to the input of the stage 4 membrane, then out of the stage 4 membrane to the other input into the auto-shutoff and out to stage 5 DI and then out to my RO container using a float. The float creates a good seal, I have even held it firmly by hand and it still never shuts off. I know the float seals shut as I have forgotten it was running for days, and the container stays full to the float, never overflows. Pressure when "closed" stays at 50 PSI and my drain line has water glong through the flow restrictor and to my waste/drain.
