RODI auto-shutoff issue

So, to start. This is my second RODI auto shutoff valve. My setup is a Spetrapurs MPDI-90 with an additonal prefilter stage. I reversed everything just because it made more sense in my head. My RODI is in my hall closet. The main feed comes from the bathroom sink on the other side of the wall, it goes into an independant stage 1 prefilter, then stage 2 carbon filter, stage 3 carbon filter, then to the "IN" on the auto shutoff, then "OUT" to the input of the stage 4 membrane, then out of the stage 4 membrane to the other input into the auto-shutoff and out to stage 5 DI and then out to my RO container using a float. The float creates a good seal, I have even held it firmly by hand and it still never shuts off. I know the float seals shut as I have forgotten it was running for days, and the container stays full to the float, never overflows. Pressure when "closed" stays at 50 PSI and my drain line has water glong through the flow restrictor and to my waste/drain.

Here is a video too, what am I doing wrong? Tips? Thank you!

The reversal could have caused your problems.
I would talk with Spectrapure, they will get you back to where you want to be.

Thank you, With the reversal the only thing I did was move the canisters from one side to the other, the flow remains the same.

My production of RODI has no issues, Im at 297 tds coming in and 0 tds going out.

On mine: Water in to prefliter & carbon, into membrane, out thru ASO to last 2 stages.
Water out of last stage to container.
Waste water from membrane into ASO, out the other side into bypass & or waste to drain.
I see a tee off your last cartridge. I have none anywhere.
One thing I found to help -- use colored hoses!!!
Black - Supply water
Blue - between all housings & into membrane & out to holding container
Essentially all "good " water.
Red or Yellow - Waste Water to drain.
Hope this helps.

Did you get straightened out?

Thanks for checking, Spectrapure gave me the "blueprint" I should say for how to plumb it all up. The one thing I didnt have was a check valve, I never wanted one because they fail so easily. But I went ahead and ordered one. was supposed to have it yesterday...gotta love Amazon Prime failures.

Well the check valve did the trick. It now drops to 0 psi.
