RODI pressurized tanks?

RO pressure tanks have a rubber bladder inside (butyl in that case) that holds the water so there is no water/metal contact

I have one works good. But be careful with leaving the system on constantly. I bought a ten gallon one. So once a week I flush my membrane and then make water for 8 or so hours. Then turn off my water feed. Turn off a valve between the DI and the Membrane, and I turn off a valve after the membrane. This protects your DI and membrane. Then I have my tank attached to a manual float valve in my sump.

My RO system feeds a 10 gal tank and I use it for drinking water. It also feeds the DI and then goes through a pressure reducer. This feeds my RO storage tank and my 100 gal sump in my fish room.

Even long term, 5-6 years+, there won't be leakage from the pressurized tank walls? I have always wondered how these things looked internally long term?

Windy2, the pressure reducer is so that the RO water has enough contact time in the DI chamberJ? Did the pressure reducer come with your RODI unit?
