My psi is reading 45. Should I get a booster pump?

It certainly can't hurt. I did, and it made my production better, and I think helped my filters last, although that is just a guess. The big influence is if you have a water softener, which I don't

Yes. or else your rodi system will not operate optimally - go through membrane/filters faster, drop in gph, etc.

Water softener can help extend the life of the membrane, but does nothing for the water pressure.

Yes you do, Aquatec 8800 is what you want and when you plumb the booster pump install between the carbon filter and the membrane, The booster pump has close tolerances and the sediment and carbon filter helps protect the pump
