Yes. or else your rodi system will not operate optimally - go through membrane/filters faster, drop in gph, etc.
 
My psi is reading 45. Should I get a booster pump?

Yes you do, Aquatec 8800 is what you want and when you plumb the booster pump install between the carbon filter and the membrane, The booster pump has close tolerances and the sediment and carbon filter helps protect the pump
