Recently sent my AF 5 Stage to Spectrapure to upgrade my unit to 2 membranes to save on waste and increase my overall product. I make allot of water weekly and wanted to know if it was ok to run say 4 DI units after the 2 membranes. I'm assuming this is just like having a couple large mixed bed cartridges. Also I have a .35 micron pre filter before the unit so was wondering why would I need a sediment filter in the unit at 1 micron which would be better served as another carbon filter.
