i am looking to buy a new rodi system as my old one that was given to me broke. i have a 75rr with a 30gal sump. my question is is it necessary to go with the refill canister that some of the units come with so you always have 3-4 gallons ready or is it just a added expense not worth it?

I don't personally have one but I know plenty others that do and they like it but I basically have the same setup minus a bit...72 bow and 20g sump

I just fill a 32 gallon rubbermaid with RO- turn on and walk away...I move a certain amount to another trash can for mixing and then use the remainder for top off water...Fill the 5 gallon bucket in my stand and then have a bit left to fill that up again several days later...I've never thought to myself that it would have made anything harder or easier

just trying to find out if it is worth it or would it never be used, supposidly can continously over fill if you have the resevoir setup on the tank as top off, what i have heard as a worst case scenario.
