RODI waste reclaim system

I hope someone with extensive professional water treatment experience can chime in for you. However, I would not re-use the waste water. What would be better I think would be to improve the total volume of water wasted. If I read you right, you DON'T WANT to waste so much water. What I would do is 2 things:
1. Get a booster pump for your unit. By increasing the incoming pressure to 90-95 PSI you make your membrane much more efficient. It also increases dramatically your total output, especially in the cold winter months. I went from 60 gpd with a 100 GPD membrane pre-booster pump to about 165 GPD after getting the pump.
2. Get an adjustable flow restrictor with a flush kit. You can adjust the ratio to get a 1:3 product to waste ratio. It will still make your membrane last 16-18 months or more depending on your water usage and significantly decreases the waste. Lower ratios like 1:2 or even 1:1 will adversely decrease the life of your membrane.

Thanks man. Unfortunately, I have done both and still nothing.
Another thing I was thinking of is moving my booster to right before the RO membrane. That way I am only pushing through the RO and the 2 DI beds instead of all 6 stages. It just seems a waste to dump all those gallons of semi clean water down the drain instead of recycling it through the system.

Someone suggested the following in a thread, but I don't know of anyone that has done it:
Take a 55g drum and fill it with tap water. Take your waste line and have it come back to the 55g drum. Take the intake line for your booster pump from the 55g drum. That way, all the waste comes back to be re-used. Every time the container gets to 1/2, fill it back up with tap water.
