Definitely get the rodi. Air water ice is a great company and you can't go wrong with BRS. John at Faois, I think, still puts them together for sale too. Aside from that there is always someone on here selling an rodi setup.

It will save you plenty. Also worth noting is if there's an emergency, it is worth having access to "quick" water changes.

Only major downside to owning rodi is that you don't have a weekly excuse to go to the lfs and come home with a random frag.

It's really one of the best items to own. Your going to spend far more in time and money lugging water back and forth. You will be happy.
