Im getting a Coralife 4 stage RODI filter.
1. Do I need to change any parts?
2. Easy to set up?
3. Would it be ok to set up in my room?
4. Instead of garbage cans could I use a rubbermaid tub?

Do you have your mind made up on the Coralife unit? There are much better units here on RC for the same money or less.

I have always liked coralife. Where are better ones? I dont have my mind set I just thought that it was a decent model. If there are better ones here please let me know if they are easy to run, Im not good with most "technological" stuff.

All are RC sponsors and offer units that are reef quality. Most start at about $150 for a very good unit that will put the Coralife to shame.

I can't think of much that Coralife makes that is high quality... Most of their stuff is targeted at the under educated LFS shopper with quality that comes nowhere near the retail price.
