Rod's Food Opinions?

Is it worth $65 (shipping included) for two 6oz packs or am I better off adding more options? I have made my own fish mash before and have no qualms about doing it again. I just want honest opinions of breeders.

I want to improve my odds at getting a clown pair to spawn. Is this the shizzizzle? I'm currently feeding a rotation of frozen cyclopeeze, mysis shrimp, Ocean Nutrition pellet, and Tetra Marine Flake in order of frequency.

I know there's other factors:
- I've slowly raised the temp range over the last month or so from 78-80 to 80-82.
- I keep the lights on from 0600-2000.

Well being Rod's food is produced not too far from me, its an easy buy at most any LFS around here. The fish go nuts for it. My breeding pair of clowns had shut down their cycle and I realized I was out of Rod's food. After buying more, the next day they were back on the nest. A fluke, maybe, but everything else in the tank seems benefit from it. Even the babies love it when they can eat bigger pieces. I pay $21 for the lg package, which last a good while. Maybe a dime sized chunk every other day.

Interesting stuff. I'll have to try that when I order again. I ordered five packs of Rod's fish only formula yesterday. I would like to find a number of foods that they really like that I can rotate.

I do not breed fish but I keep Large Angels. I was given a Blueface 3 Years ago that had HLLE from another guy getting out of SWF totally. I started it on Rods food the next day. Well within 2 months the HLLE was gone and the Blueface survived til the Town I was living in lost power for 4 days. Had a choice to make keep my father alive since he needed the Genarator or keep my fish alive. Sorry I made the choice of my father.
