Rods Onyx Clown

So I am fairly new to keeping saltwater tanks as well as their inhabitants. I just purchased a Rods Onyx Clown locally being that I live the town over from Rods place (less than a 20 min drive). I have been doing a lot of researching on what other clown I would like to get to be a potential mate for this lucky girl. I was looking at the Picasso, snowflake, and black ice clowns. What would be my best and most likely mate. I have read that it is possible to cross bread the ocellaris and percula clowns but I am unsure of the success rate as well as the compatibly of being different species. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

As long as its a Percula and not an Occelaris it will pair nicely. I'd do a picasso, snowcasso, or platinum. Sustainable aquatics has REALLY nice picasso's on sale now.

Doesnt matter if it is a perc or ocy both will pair up fine with the onyx.
true....but there's no guarantee that she will accept any male you put in with her....it may be a trial and error process.
be ready to separate them if she becomes excessively aggressive towards her new mate to give him time to mend...
I use a mesh breeder box to remove the aggressive female if things start to look fatal...

I'm in the process now of trying to pair a female Picasso and a male Snowflake and she is not being very "nice" to him currently.... :p

i vote snowonyx since it already has the darker body. would be cool if you can get the snowonyx to have solid black like the rods but with some orange still.
