Can't wait until he has successful batches this year.

??? Please elaborate... The times I've been there his clowns were laying eggs. I saw different clowns too. So for sure he is pushing them.

I sent him an email about a week ago and he said "I wont be shipping any of the few that I have until mid/late March, and by then I am not even sure that I will have ANY they way that these locals keep coming out to buy them. I am still breeding, but haven't had enough
time/success with the last few batches. You can check with me in a few weeks (when the weather holds above 25 at night for a few days consistently) to see what I have left. I do have eggs on the tiles now, so hopefully Ill have more time/success with the next few batches."

This is fine by me since I am not ready for them yet, but I hope to get a pair later this spring.

C'mon now... deep inside you want to take that trip to Rod's ;)

Heck I'm starting a new dedicated nano just so I can keep another pair of his

Just make sure you check with GSMguy... he got a little jealous earlier

If it wasn't about an 8 hour drive I would love to come see them and pick out my own. I am starting a 29g BC basically for some Onyx Clowns. My gf has been nagging on me to start up a sw tank again and of course she wants nemos, but once she saw the Onyx it was easy to change her mind from Oscellaris to Onyx.

Nice! I'll trade ya my clowns for your girl

Chicago chicks need to pick advice from them Minnesota honeys.

Here's a cool pic I took of my onyx the other day ;)

purdy fish tony, lets see the male.

I got a New BTA today , i placed it near the old BTA and my clowns jumped right in,

WOW, those are sweet fish! I got a pair of picassos a few weeks ago and love them but I really NEED a pair of Rod's. They are my favorite! How long will a pair of these be ok in a Biocube 8 if they are the only fish in there?

BTW, Nice pics Tony!

if they're the only ones? Probably a very long time. A lot of breeders set up their breeding tanks as 10g's.

Thanks Tony! He is affectionately known as "Boogly Boogly" named by the wife and kids. I would love a blue spot but I think the family would run me out if I got rid of Boogly Boogly. There was an uprising when I evicted the ocellaris pair for my new picassos. Good thing they are just going to my brothers place 20 minutes away.
