what i do know is rods clowns have a very strong, reliable black in them, and i personaly would let them in the bta. your first concern should be there happiness. color is secondary. my gut feeling is that in time they will get their color back, just have to be paitent. focus on their health, growth and the other variables you want should follow in time.

My rod's clowns are about 2.5 years old and they have not onyxed. I have no anemone and my male looks like your female.
