cant wait for my pair to hit a year, now that all i feed is frozen cyclopeze and rod food they should color up nicely

Is there an advantage to feeding frozen cyclopeze instead of flakes? Does the frozen have less phosphate?

My fish go berzerk on the flake cyclopeze, I haven't tried the frozen.

i havent tried the flake dont know about the phosphate but my tiny lil rodonyx love cyclopeze they will eat until they are stuffed
all smaller fish love cyclopeze also supposed to be good for color
i do give a treat of formula2 flake once in a while

Ya, Rods in DeKalb is only about 50 minutes away from me. I just didn't know if any other stores sold it in the Chicagoland area.

The closest one to you would be Ocean's Floor. Which is a very nice place, but a trip to Rod's is well worth the time!
