I purchaed 2 6100's and 7095 mulicontroller for my 210 gallon tank over 6 months ago. I have had them in every direction possible and my sand still won't stay in fron middle of tank. it looks horrible. I now have Tunzes feacing each other on side walls. However, this is creating problems with any corals in their paths. I have put power down to 40%. This seems to be a waste of these units. Is this normal? Any ideas you might have. At 40% are thse putting out same as 6000's. Should I down grade. I can't imagine I am the only one having this problem I don't even have a deep sand bed.

This is so very frustrating. Please help. Special settings?

That really should be the correct amount of flow for a tank of that size. I would try Interval 1 so only one pump is running at a time and try back corner to opposite front corner.

I have the exact same setup and had the same problem at first. I am going to assume you have these on magnets as I do. What my solution turned out to be was that when I had the magnets "level" with the topline of the tank the streams looked as if they were oriented slightly down almost as if you thought they were too heavy for the bracket. Anyway, I just cocked one side of the magnet which oriented the stream to a much more level "look" in the tank. (Taken to the extreme you could have it blasting water at the surface but I wouldn't advise it ) And presto sand stays put in the front now..
Try it and see if that solves your issue as well. BTW I run them 30 to 100 percent now with no trouble on the substrate at all
