Sorry if you have answered this question too many times..but I would like to add the 6000 with a controller to my 65 gallon. Will that be sufficient for corals? Or do you have any other reccomendations for a 65 gallon coral tank?
It could be too much actuallly. What will you keep in the 65? Basically if it is coarse sand or BB and almost exclusively SPS I would say it is a good choice.
Thank you so much for answering - it has "live sand" on teh bottom, so it is not terribly fine sand. I was planning on putting in some SPS and possibly some LPS and reef safe fish. What else would you reccomend? Something smaller? Or less strong? What would that be? THANK YOU!
What kind of LPS? It could work with brains and the like but it won't be a good choice for frogspawns, torches, hammers, elegance. In that case a 7400/2 is your best bet.
