Roger, need advice on my 6100

Ok Roger, I took the impeller from the one giving me trouble and put it in the one that is working fine and it worked fine and tried the one that worked in the non working one with no luck...same issue. Must be that bushing!

Hey Roger,
I put the bushing in couple days ago and i thought it fixed the problem, but today it started beeping again. Could something else cause it? Do the motors, transformers or drivers go bad and cause the alarm to sound?

Ben

They can, not so much the transformer but if you used a strong acid to clean the pump this causes the plastic to swell and can change tolerances but usually something extreme like straight Muriatic used a few times is required to do much damage. The driver can also have an oversensitive alarm setting and if the pump overheated it is possible for the Hall sensor inside that sounds the alarm to bend or warp out of position.

as far as cleaning goes...i only use vinegar and water. I still have my old 6000 transformer, i will hook it up and see what happens.
