Roger UPGRADE Opinion needed

Roger I have 2 6000 streams on a 7095 multicontroller. I really like them.
I have them in a 120 gal. 48" X 24" X 24" tank, positioned in the front right and back left corners as near the top as I can get.

I want more flow in my tank, especially between the overflows (I have a All Glass tank with the new megaflows).

My question is what is the best way to go in your opinion?

1. Upgrade the transformers to a 6100 stream.

2. Get anothr 6000 stream and positon in a place you sguuest.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Randy

Well I'm not Roger but I have the same Tunze setup as you in a 72g. I also run a 6060 on a timer to come on with the lights. If you want more current I would suggest converting one 6000 to 6100 and see what happens. If you need more convert the other and be done with it for less than the cost of an additiional 6000.

Thanks for the reply bowfront. That was the direction I was going was to do the transformer upgrade. I was just hoping to get an opinion from Roger.

It would double the flow to do the transformer upgrade. If you feel you need more flow I might first check that the pumps are thoroughly clean and at optimum performance. I think the transformer is a better idea than a 3rd pump but I would do one at a time and see.

thanks for the reply Roger. I do keep my pumps clean. My aquascapeing is what is giveing me some dead spot problems. i will do as suggested, one transformer at a time.
