If I hooked up a 6080 on a timer to be on 12 hrs. and then off 12 hrs. How long would the pump last be for it needed to be fixed. The reason I ask is I have seen other threads about not hooking them up to a wavetimer because it will burn out and null the warrenty. just a good guess will be fine. thanks in advance Jerry

You can do intervals as short as one hour and still be within warranty, I don't think 12hrs will damage the pump except there is the possibility for an animal to enter when it is off and this can break the prop or shaft on start up.
