Rose Anemone got stuck, what do you think?

My rose anemone got stuck in my closed loop. Probably for 20 minutes or so. I first noticed little neon red things floating in my water, which turned out to be tentacles, then I noticed the Rose stuck to the closed loop intake. I quickly turned off the pump for a few hours and let the Rose work its way out. It's an extra large Rose and I'd say about 5% to 8 % of its one side got chewed up. The Rose was able to move about 4 inches away from the area, but just hangs there semi deflated, but not sucked in. What do you think about his chances of survival. The anemone has been in captivity for over 2 plus years. Sorry no pictures cause he's in a back cave, out of camera view. Anyone else have an experience like this? How durable are RBTA's to this kind of stress?

BTAs are very durable in this area. Just continue to provide the same care that allowed you to keep one for two years, and you should be fine (oh yeah, and cover that closed loop intake with a sponge prefilter).

When the anemone is inflated, some meaty food would help with the energy and nutrient needs of the recovery.

Still semi deflated, and hanging....maybe a little more deflated than the other day. Skimmer is skimming like mad.
