rose anemone

I just recently purchased and rose anemone from a fellow reefer (for $50 awesome deal ). I was just wondering if the rose could turn into a green bubble tip. I ask this only because I see green on his tentacles as well as red(mostly red).Any info would be greatly appreciated . Thanks

Often times RBTAs do have a greenish cast near the base of the tentacles. It will keep the red that it currently has. Depending on the lighting, the green might appear to get darker.

thanks for the info gary...it is under current usa pro series t5s 6-39 watt bulbs...could old bulbs be the cause for the green getting darker..iam in the proccess of changing the bulbs
