I was trying to pair two clownfish with the anenome, so I placed them in a small plastic box in top of dt. At night I checked and one of the clownfish was on top of the anenome in a very strange position almost out of the water.
here is a photo

I touch him and felt like if he was glued to the anenome. the clownfish was moving the side fin but looked like he was not moving anything else, so I separated him from the anenome with my finger and the clown was able to swim again but today he was dead in the bottom of the box.

how can this be???

Your charges will not hold up in court. Too many variables to say that it was the BTA that killed it

I only had the 2 clowns and the anenome in the box.
the two clowns had 4 months in my dt, they were healthy and eating.
is it possible for a anenome to kill a clownfish??

I also saw a couple of fights between the clowns yesterday. I got them from ORA and they were very small 4 month ago, so I thought that they could not kill each other

the other possibility is that the other clown killed this one?

Yes anemones can kill clowns that's why it's known not to force the relationship between them clowns need to build up their slime coat in order to handle the stings
