Two weeks ago I added a polyped leather to my aquarium. The polyps have not fully extended themselves yet, however, late last week the lleather had opened up and the polyps had begun extending themselves at random times then contracting.
It now appears as if part of the stock is actually rotting. I have attached a picture below and would like to know what exactly is happening to the leather and what, if anything should be done. The rot is unfortunately spreading quickly.
