Hi guys and gals.
I feel like such a noob but I simply cannot keep a Royal Gramma alive.
I have far more sensitive fish in my tank, Achillies Tang, Hippo Tang, Leopard Wrasse, Mandarin to name a few but I have had so much trouble keeping Royal Gramma.
I have had 3 that have died with in a day or two of introducing them to my tank and one that I have had for the last 3 months I woke up to him on the sandbed.
My params are bang on, there are tons of places to hide, I feed a variety of high quality foods and there is no aggression towards them. I just cant figure it out. To make things worse, this is my daughter AND wifes favorite fish and I just cant seem to keep it alive.
Is there something I am missing? Are they susceptable to stress? Are they caught or transported poorly? Everywhere I see peple saying these are easy fish yet I cant seem to figure them out.
