Can anyone advise if $189.99 + tax is a good price for an PCI RPS-2000? I am setting up a 125 gal reef. I still can take it back to the store if I can do better either on price or a different skimmer recommendation. I would like to stay under $200.00 if its possible. It also had no instructions. I emailed PCI but no response so far. Is this company known for poor customer service.

Seems like a good price. Checking online I see they are going for the low $300s... What do you need instructions for

What are you specifically having problems with as far as set up? Looking at it, it needs to be fed via an overflow set up or a feed pump. Then once you have it installed and the output plumbed, it's just a matter of adjusting the gate valve to adjust the water level...

the gate valve has a length of vertical pipe a tee and more vertical pipe. is this the way i leave it ? Can I use the tee to pipe the out flow if I use it outside a sump? If in sump what water level should I have in the sump? Should I glue the three pieces I started my questions with. Yea I like to over think things ;-)
