RS180 skimmer\bubble blaster

Is there a Bubble Blaster pumps that would be a good fit on the Euro-reef RS180(24" tall, 8" body) skimmer?

In my opinion the BB 3000 is the best pump for the 180 or 250 body. Then the BB 5000 ist he best pump for the 280 body. Let me know if you have any questions, it's a pretty easy and quick swap to make.

Just an edit to this, for some reason I was thinking Vertex, not EuroReef. Having said that, their body sizes and designs are identical to one another, only the Vertex uses the bubble plate, EuroReef does not. Having said that, the recommendations would still stay the same for you. EuroReef also had an RS250 that had the same body dimensions as the Vertex IN-250. EuroReef did not have a 280 model though.

I was thinking about doing the same swap. How is the performance, plumbing match, and sound level of the ER with a BB 3000 on it?

The pump is fairly quiet, and the performance is top notch. It's pretty easy to change over on a Vertex body, haven't done it on an ER body yet though, although it would be simple to do!

I would suggest using the BB 3000 since you have the 8" body. The BB 2000 is a better fit for the 6" body in my opinion.
