I have only about a half dozen sps corals, green slimmer, couple pocillopora, birdnest, pavona and 2 unknown acro. Today one acro rtn'd over night, was fine yesterday. Always good PE. This is a blueish teal w brown polyps. Was anyway. All others are good except a green pocillopora that some polyps arent extending. That one always has had good pe. I did add a frag last week that died first day rtn, I'm wondering if that one was infected with some thing causing this? I dont see any bugs or parasites.
Params:
No3 ~5 - api
Po4 - less than .25- api
Ca - 400 red sea
Alk - 8.4 red sea
Mg - 1240 red sea
Iodine - .6 sea chem
I don't test anything else.

All others show full polyps extension except the pocillapora mentioned above. Other tank mates are a cleaner wrasse &a flame angel. Never seem flame nip any corals. Also have some lps & soft corals but nowhere close to sps's.

I would get a better test kit for po4 but I think your problem is the po4. Ideally your po4 levels should be under .03 and some shoot for .00 ppm. Acros are very sensitive to po4.

Actually I later noticed out still has polyps & are extended but most if not all color is gone. I haven't moved it in about 2 months & no light changes.

its your phosphates. most say anything over .10 is deadly for corals. Now I am sure there are a lot of reefers on here that run them high but I will bet your issue is from your po4 level. how often do you change your water? are you running gfo? do you have a fuge?
