Rtn?

This frag has been in my tank for 4 days,I was looking in the tank tonight with a flashlight and noticed that the tissue on one of the small bottom branches is losing tissue leaving a white skeleton,
these are my first sps frags,tank has been running for a few years

CA.440 ,salifer,api,seachem
alk-10-11-api-seachem
mg.1350-salifert
temp-78-chiller
po4-0.03-hanna-photometer
no3--8 pinpoint
ph-8.1-8.0 -low due to calcium reactor-even though im dripping kalk-pinpoint -hanna

lighting 2x250 hqi 14k---4x54w acntics

a few other sps frags were also put in and seem to be doing fine,
anything i can do to try to save this coral?

Im going to frag the top 2 branches half inch into the healthy tissue,then dip in lugols ,

should i glue the cut end ?
or the top of the cut branch?
also what should i use to cut the branch?
