ruby red dragonet score!

Don't give up hope, I hardly saw my mandarin and it was in a 20 gallon.

Speaking of which, would there be any aggression between other types of dragonnets?

Males dragonets can be buggers some time even towards females of their own species. Mine chased the Meyer's dragonet female (ignored the male) when the Meyer's was added. After that, they're fine. Normally, mixing two males of the same species can have nasty fighting. I see that all that time at a LFS that seems to ignore males fighting.

I want one of these soo bad, but LFS is charging 75-90. :headwally:

That's not a surprise Bay Area pricing seem's to run higher than Sacramento area.
I lived in the Bay Area since 1961 didn't come to Sac until August of 1999.

Just snagged on these itty bitty fellas at Exotic for $20. Probably a bad idea, but so cool and tiny. Someone has to be breeding the crap outta these puppies. Since they are so small and cheap.

I was
Just at Exotic yesterday for their big sale, and that place was packed took 30 min waiting in line for my fish. A Sunburst Anthias for $35 after the 25% off.

I thought these were wild caught? I'd love to get one if they were tank bred. I'm waiting for ORA to release some more dragonets. Have not seen any available in a while. I wouldn't be surprised if they already have some pairs of the ruby red.

Hey had these are my lfs in ohio
Really neat looking but the $80 seemed steep
Maybe one of the other shops will have them cheaper
