Ruby Reef Rally

Has anyone used this product to success? I have a new 180 that was seeded by live rock from a tank that came down with marine velvet. Bad timing as the marine velvet made itself known around a day or two within me moving the rock. Otherwise I would have not moved it!

My 180 has been sitting fallow for several weeks and plan to wait it out at least 6 if not 8. Question is does Ruby Reef Rally work. if so, I would take another step and use it. I have a few small corals, nothing major. I do have quite a bit of CUC in the 180.

Yep. Waiting it out... Boring!!! But I know I have to do it. Unbelievable that an LFS can give out marine velvet with new fish! Not the extras I as hoping for...

Only thing that works for velvet is fallow period of 6 weeks like Steve said or Chloroquine Phosphate. The ruby reef and other products that are similar to that are nothing but snake oil

Yep, velvet is definitely not a disease where I want to try Dr Feelgood's miracle cure.
CP is what you want to use (except when pipefish, seahorses or certain wrasses are involved. For those the only option is copper).
