Rules on flasher wrasses

What are the rules on flasher wrasses with male/female combinations.

I was aiming for 1 male, 2 female. If I buy three of any combination, will one because the male and the other two female? Or will the males fight to death?

1 male and 5 females.

There is no rule. I would avoid multiple males of the same species but a harem can consist of one male and zero, one, two, . . . females.

Add the females first, I would play it safe and only put one male with 3 to 5 females. I've been trying to find some females for my mccosker, but no one seems to be able to get a hold of any

I'm having trouble getting the females, that's why I was asking regarding the all males. I guess I'll wait it out until I'm certain I can get multiple females and 1 male.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. How can you tell the difference between male and female McCosker wrasses when they are small?

How does this translate in to mixed species groups? For instance I know with anthias you can mix species on females, but males may not get along.

females lack the filament and thier colors are quite drap compared to a male
