Well its been a week and he is still alive but I'm not sure how he is really doing. He is still hiding in a cave where he can peek out the top and get some indirect light but not very much. He is inflated but not with true bulbs. My GSM pair are living in him and caring for him. I am feeding him about 1/2 of a diced shrimp every other day. He is still white as snow. Any thoughts?

even half a diced shrimp may be alot depending on the size of the nem.

as long as he is eatting and opened up with a tight mouth it should be fine. I've seen all sorts of bta's and many of them don't even bubble up.

I feed my bta's 1/4 of a cube of any frozen food I feed to my fish..

Agreed, bubbled tentacles are not (to the best of any of our knowledge, anyways) related to the anemones health. I wouldn't worry about the amount of light it's receiving right now, chances are it's parked itself in that spot for a reason, and it'll come out when it's good and ready

Hopefully your little guy will survive and turn it's proper color. The fact it's still here after a week is a good sign tho. I know the pet store here get quite a few bleached anemones when they order them.

When open its about 7 inches wide. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and see what happens.
