Runnin in streams

Roger,

I've just received my streams and am in the process of running them in. I do hope that they become quieter! What is the best speed at which to run them in for the first week or so. I have them both at 30% just now, but I wondered if 100% would be better.

If the noise is that bad I think perhaps you may want to check that the bushing at the top is properly inserted in the pump. There should not be an outlandish amount of noise- just a soft drone/hum. Within 2 weeks most of the noise is gone it takes 3 months though for full wear in. As I said though it shouldn't be that bad. As for speed- doesn't matter run it the way you want to for your tank.
