Hi all,
I am interested in trying Zeo out on my SPS tank. I have a JBJ Nanocube 28 gallon tank that has been up for about a year, with ~20 SPS corals. Growth is a bit slow, and colors could be better, so I am looking into Zeo.
One of the nice things about the all in one tank is that it is self contained, with no sump or hang on parts. The skimmer fits in a chamber in the back, as does the heater. Another chamber is currently holding carbon and GFO.
My main question is: can I run a Zeo system without any hang on or external reactors or chambers? Can I put the zeolites in a bag in the back chamber, with good water flow through them? Or can I run Zeo without the Zeolites, just with the live rock and sand bed that I currently have? Anyone have experience with this type of system?
Thanks,
Marc
