RustOleum back glass

I was wondering if anyone has tried using the rustoleoum texture spray for the glass background? I was thinking of using the gray rock textured one on the back of a new tank (outside of the glass).

What do you think? not sure it will stick.

I'm not sure if it will stick, either. But it will not be textured when you view it thru the front viewing pain of glass (it will look smooth). The only texture will be on the back of your tank. I used krylon fusion on the back of my tank, it sticks and looks great.

I thing GWS is correct. It will not be textured from the inside. I think it will stick though.

+2 on the smooth look.

IMO, any paint will stick to glass... some use Krylon Fusion (made for plastic, not glass), some use cheap $0.99 Walmart spray paint, some roll on latex paint. People have strong opinions on what's best, but I don't put too much stock in those opinions because most people probably just tried the one and only they ended up using and think it's great. It's the back of the tank, so even if it scratches off easily, I don't know how you're going to get to it to scratch it off on a regular basis anyway. If it scratches off, patch it. If all is correct, it should be covered in coralline after a while anyway :D

GWS... love the avatar

i used a rustoleum enamal once and it worked out well, it acually held up better than krylon fusion for me. i also will have to agree that most spraypaints will get the job done.
