S. haddoni...does this guy look OK?

I have this green S. haddoni in the corner of my tank. He seems happy to me...very sticky, eats silversides like candy, and only shifts around slightly, never wandering (currenlty he's flatter on the sand than in the picture). There's also a small porcelain crab hosting in it, but you can't see it in this picture. However, he's always clenched up like this. I see a lot of S. haddoni that are much more open...I rarely get more than a glimpse of his mouth.

So...first off, is this really a S. haddoni, and second...should I worry about this scrunched up appearance, given that everything else seems good?

TIA,

jds

Looks pretty natual to em. As long as its mouth is tight shut, it is not bleached and it reacts fast to food your basically pretty much good to go.

Does your anemone have rows of colored spots on its underside? I can't quite tell from the picture.

I'm not sure about the colored spots...it kind of looks like it in that picture, but since he's positioned himself flatter in the sand now, I can't see the underside.

I was just wondering because from my experience haddoni have verrucae (adhesive bumps on the underside) but they are not colored. The other species of carpets usually do have colored spots on the underside.
It is probably just the angle of the light that is accenting the verrucae in your pic.
