The absolute perfect sized midlevel tank. Not too big to fill, but big enough. I really like those dimensions. Are you going to put something on the back (paint, vinyl, etc) or leave it clear?

I am planning to leave it clear. going to set it as a real pennisula in the future.

It took awhile but the plumbing is done & rocks are pretty much cured. Planning on the transfer this coming weekend!!!

I'll post pics of the tank with rocks later tonight.

Tunze one with 792gph. Runs well and pretty silent. I never owned an eheim so I cant compare.

How's your tank coming along? Is John done with your custom sump?

That's great. I might go with the same return pump. I really like the low power consumption.

I picked up my sump from John last week. It came out very nice so I'm pretty stoked. I also had him build me a 7 gallon ATO reservoir as well. :)

All I need now is my PM and a stand then I'm set.

Can't wait to see pics of your set up.

I am pretty lazy when it comes to updating this thread. Here are a few pictures - tank has been up and running for a few months now.

Got bored so I took some pictures today. I am using my EF 50mm 1.8. I still need some practice taking pictures. Someday I'll get a macro lens. Everything is starting to grow out pretty well now.

Also started dosing two part with the LM3 and remote pump. I really like it so far and it's pretty much automatic. I kept forgetting when I manually dose my tank.

Here are some updated pictures since my tank has been up for about 5 months now. The dosing pump has been really good since I am pretty lazy when I did manual dosing.

Pink L - starting to grow a bit from the 12/09 picture above. So that's about 30 days. Also in the picture is my forest fire digi, rasp. prostrata? and garf bonsai.

Looks like the digi grew the most. I also had to remount a few people. I think everything you move a coral - they have to reacclimate to the current position in terms of light and flow.

the pl is start to grow nicely.

I think it's time to invest in a tripod, I might have one you could borrow.
