OK I JUST SET UP MY SA GHL DOSER, I ENTERED THE DATE/TIME AND RAN ALL THE HOSES, UMMMMM WHAT NOW, I DONT WANT TO DO ANYTHING TO "f" IT UP SO IS THERE A STEP BY STEP MANUAL, BECAUSE ATLEAST FOR ME THE DIRECTIONS IT CAME WITH ISNT THAT INFORMATIVE, FOR DUMMIES THAT IS LOL. ALSO IS THERE AN 800 # OR SOMETHING I CAN CALL FOR SUPPORT IF EVER???

yeah i cant register on that site for some reason, half of it is in german, so the error must be on my end, but thats why im using this support forum

I think if you have everything set up, all you're going to need to do now is calibrate the pumps, and then set the amount you'd like dosed every day from each pump.

Its really easy, set the number of dosings per day and how much to deliver each time it doses. ex 12 dosings per day at 10ml = 120ml for that day. If I recall correctly you want to choose auto. Manual will allow you to choose not only dosings per day but what days you want to dose. Its been a while since I used one but I can't imagine it has changed.

HTH

ok so i calibrated the pumps, 1 and a half ml, left exactly on each pump, so my opinion is im not going to change it because it was the first time each pump ran, im adding the fact of some air in the lines, sounds ok???
also i set up auto dosing for alk, cal, mag tell me if this sounds ok, first off on auto dosing mode i dont have to worry about each pump turning on at the same time right?

120 gallon tank
cal 10x per day 10 ml= 100ml
alk 20x per day 04 ml= 80ml
mag 10x per day 10 ml= 100ml

do these sound in range?? also i just programmed it in the last half hr, dosing does not start till 1200 midnight correct??? so i should wait till tommorow night to test my alk, cal, mag right?

In auto mode the doser will not dose all at the same time if possible.

You can push the little red button to push out the air in each line.

Monitor your levels for a week or so and you can fine tune the dose amounts.

Hi,

If you mean in range in terms of consumption of elements, then this is wholly based on the draw your corals put on the elements being dosed.

Give it 24 hours and then re test, if they readings have not changed then you are dialed in, if they have gone up or down away from what your prefferred measurement points are then adjust accordingly.

I have only just got mine fine tuned after 2 weeks this is normal, now its sit back and watch them corals grow ;)

Quick question, once you get it dialed in, how often would you recommend testing to be sure you're still in line with the dosages? Bi-Monthly or so?

Thanks!
