Well, life has conspired against me and I'm going to have to sell my tank. I'm not done with this hobby for ever, but I need to be done for now.
I'd prefer to sell this as a complete package, but will start parting out next week if there are no takers this weekend. I'd like to see $1800 OBO for the package without the LEDs or $2500 with them. But I'm open to offers.
Here's the full disclosure: if you buy this as a package, you'll want a new stand and a new skimmer pump. The stand is rotting at one corner and needs to be replaced, and the skimmer pump runs but it shocked me when I last had it turned on. The tank has been filtering with an Algal Turf Scrubber for the last month. This has worked really well (Nitrates at or close to 0), but ATS's are not for everybody, I know.
The actual tank and the community inside it is in great condition. No pests, no algae in the tank (both before and after implementing the ATS), minimal coraline growth on the tank bottom and rear wall. Here's what's all included
Livestock:
4-5" hippo tang
4" yellow tang
a pair of 3" false clowns
2" six line wrasse
a large cleaner shrimp
lots of snails and hermits
about 100 lbs. of live rock, most of it nicely encrusted with coralline and corals.
Corals:
an orangey-purple chalice with yellow spots, about 2"x4"
2 big show pieces of monti cap--one red, one green, each about 10"
2 or three smaller monti caps--green with purple polyps
a little colony of pale orange/purple montipora digita
a milli
an awesome 3" clump of birdsnest--green with purple polyps (one of my favorites)
a little colony (12 polyps?) of green moon palys
6 or 7 varieties of zoanthids (nothing too rare), including two ~50 polyp colonies.
a dozen or so green ricordia mushrooms
a dozen or so green hairy mushrooms
a dozen or so green trumpet mushrooms
a dozen or so mouths of green and purple hammer corals
2 or 3 mouths of green hammer
8 or so mouths of green and purple frogspawn
xenia (not the pulsing hand kind)
probably some more stuff in there I'm forgetting.
Equipment:
48" Coralife Aqualight Pro lighting fixture and ballasts - 2x250watt metal halide + compact flourescent actinics + LED moonlights (http://www.aquacon.com/CoralifeAqualightPro.html)
I also have a pair of AI Sol Super Blues--i'd be willing to sell as a package with or without these
Digital Aquatics ReefKeeper aquarium controller (1st generation, but runs like a champ)
90 gallon tank
30 gallon sump
10 gallon ATO resevoir
double float-switch auto-top-off (http://autotopoff.com/products/DS1/) with pump
Aqua Euro skimmer (needs new pump)
Algal Turf Scrubber (homemade)
Heater
1/3 horsepower chiller (http://www.tropicalriverandreef.com/tradewind-drop-in-chiller---1-3-hp.html)
Rio return pump
2 Hydor Koralia powerheads
Marine depot refractometer
There's also test kits, 5 gallon buckets, a frag rack, a 32 gallon bucket on a dolly, Dowflake, baking soda, and Magflake (for making 2-part solution), lots of salt (300 gallons worth? reef crystals and instant ocean). Again, there's more that I'm can't think of right now.
