the man is just not smart
how could anyone vote for him

Believe it or not I know of at least one person who actually voted for him.....Twice!!!

Saying that he says that Saddam killed Mandela is taking out of context, because he clearly didn't say that, however regardless the analogy that he used was really stupid and probably downright incorrect. The only reason I could imagine a person voting for him was because they just automatically vote for their favored political party. Short of that, I don't know a single person who voted republican in either election because they liked bush... I'm sure there are people who did though. Twice.

unfortunately there are people that are even less smart than bush & the sad thing is they are allowed to vote-maybe they just vote for the guy with the shortest name,as it is easier for them to try to spell.

Hahaha, I hear all kinds of footfalls heading this way!!! IBTL!!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing in his speech refers to Hussein killing Mendela but he suggest that Hussein killed future reformers that could have been like Mendela. And he is 100% correct on that. That forum is 100% baloney. How can they be called ThinkProgress when there is a story on that page you can click on to stop Talk Show Radio because it's dominated by Republicans. The same group is against people sensoring porn or rap but wants to stop radio talk shows that discuss views different then them.Im always amazed how groups like this are always twisting the truth. They are for freedom of speech as long as no one exposes there nonsense. Then they want to shut them down.It seems obvious to me that the Democratic parties tendencies toward Communism and Socialist ideas always seem to pop up.Like Fidel in Cuba they use extreme propaganda and twist truths and then shut down anyone with opposing views.Just so you know I voted for Bush twice and will vote Republican again. You will not find me voting for Hillary or Osama. Oops I mean Obama.

I voted for him twice and in the future or any republican around.

Deep merky waters but politics are just that with that in mind lets boil some water and make some coffee.

The actual article on top of the thread is nonsense but then again perhaps the reader did not have much common sense to really understand the talk.

FINALLY!
"I believe that the proper function of government is to do for the people those things that have to be done but cannot be done, or cannot be done as well by individuals, and that the most effective government is government closest to the people.

I believe that good government is based on the individual and that each person’s ability, dignity, freedom and responsibility must be honoured and recognised.

I believe that free enterprise and encouragement of individual initiative and incentive have given this nation an economic system second to none.

I believe that sound money policy should be our goal.

I believe in equal rights and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, age, sex or national origin. I believe that persons with disabilities should be afforded equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunities as well.

I believe we must retain those principles worth retaining, yet always be receptive to new ideas with an outlook broad enough to accommodate thoughtful change and varying points of view.

I believe that Americans value and should preserve their feeling of national strength and pride, and at the same time share with people everywhere a desire for peace and freedom and the extension of human rights throughout the world.

Finally, I believe that the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government."

:D

I as well voted for him, twice. The first time was probably a mistake, the second time was because at least I knew I was dealing with: An Idiot.

With JK, you never knew what you were getting, and he changed his mind too much. I cannot give the specific examples now, but I remember thinking that I could not trust this guy one bit. My original intent was to not vote for W. As a matter of fact, my Dem wife, who normally votes party lines, ended up voting for W because Kerry came across as a complete moron. Really, I blame the Dem's for not giving me a good alternative.

That being said, I was going to change my card from Rep. to Independent, but have decided not to. Not because I care for, or even feel I align with the party anymore, but because I would love to see Ron Paul become the nominee.

I highly doubt RP would ever get elected, he would probably be blackmailed or shot by the powers that be (CIA) first.

I voted for him twice, because I was looking for long term results, and it worked, two pro-life conservative supreme court judges and on the bench most likely for the next 15 to 20 years.
