I have been thinking about this for a while and after much internal debate; decided to rely on the expert opinions here.
Short story is I have a pair of black saddlebacks in my tank. I've been caring for them for over a year and have grown quite fond of them. They are starting to show signs of pairing/breeding behavior, and I want the best environment possible for them.
When they were in my 90 I had two carpets and they absolutely loved them (is that possible?!
). I definitely have the equipment necessary and feel like I have the knowledge required to successfully keep a haddoni.
However, as can be expected; my clown pair was pretty rough on the carpets. They would constantly bury themselves within the anemones and occasionally would enter the mouths.
Here's the question: knowing the somewhat aggressive behavior with the carpets, should I steer clear this time around?
Thanks
