safety connector - how to hook up

I just picked up a safety connector and i was wondering if there is a diagram on how to hook this up ... i will have a SLA battery and 6055 that i want to provide battery back up to - thanks.

I am not familiar with the term SLA but basically you connect the battery to the wires, plug the transformer into the female socket and plug the male plug into the pump connector. The battery is additionally connected to a charger.

SLA stands for sealed lead acid

quick update - i did get the system hooked up - works awesome - i am going to test and see how long i can go with out power soon.

in addition, i added 2 more 6055's with a multicontroller and traded away my vortech - i love it some much more! Thanks.

Please post your results, including battery info (12v?, amp hour rating?). I just got my safety connector yesterday and have a 12v, 18 amp hour Power-Sonic SLA battery. I will set it up with my 6055 and see how long it goes.

i forgot to test it last night - i am using a 12 V 35 aH battery
