Safety Connector?

Roger,

Any similar device for the Tunze Wavebox to run off of a standard car battery or 12 volt deepcell marine battery? Power was out at my house yesterday, and I had to run my wavebox off of a small 300 watt inverter and a 12 volt battery. Figured that this wasn't the most efficient use of my battery, but needed something in a pinch. Started looking on the Tunze site and found the 6105.500 (Safety connector). Will this work? Or only intended for standalong controllable stream pumps?

It will work if your wavebox has a newer 6261 pump.

I think that it has the newer pump, because I recently had the alarm come on. I removed the pump from the wavebox, cleaned it per your instructions on the Tunze forum regarding an alarm and it worked fine. When I removed the pump, I am pretty sure that it was the newer model. Thanks for the info.

New pumps have no alarm or driver box so it is an older one.

I can't find a vendor that sells the 6105.500 right now?
Do I need to fly to frankfurt and buy it from the LFS there?

They aren't out yet but the first ones should come in in two weeks.
