sailfin tang gone blind

Need help my sailfin tang swims to the food but does not eat looks like its blind does someone know why can you help please thanks.

We have a harlequin tuskfish that was sent from the wholesaler, blind. Had him about a year, and he has to be kept in a holding tank, and hand fed every day. It sucks, but he does swim around a bit, and seems content.

Is it a new fish to you? It may just not want to eat the food yet, it realizes it's maybe food that you're feeding but just hasnt quite decided to take a bite yet. Maybe try a different food like mysis shrimp that will float through the water column, almost all tangs will have a hard time resisting that.

You're saying it's swimming to the food, in my mind that means it isnt blind.
